Plant any of the single stalk varieties in a rough square. Use soft material, such as old pantyhose to tie around tops and draw them carefully into a teepee shape. Plant morning glories, beans, or other vine at the base of each plant to make the 'skins' of the teepee. It's a fine playhouse for children. Depending upon how the canopy is filled in, cool weather crops that don't need much sunlight can be planted inside.

Links:   Isn't this nice.	The best Sun Flowers in the north west! Three Sisters is when you take corn, and grow beans up the stalk, and squash on the bottom. The Indians did this, and supposedly planted a dead fish underneath each corn plant. the beans provide extra nitrogen to the corn, the squash is shaded by the corn and beans...or something like that. What I was thinking was growing beans up the sunflower, and something on the bottom. These little projects are always fun.
